I graduated from Liverpool Business School

Completing my MBA was one of the most challenging yet rewarding experiences of my life.

Big news from the UK

I’ve officially graduated from Liverpool Business School, United Kingdom, and joined the LJMU alumni club! 🎓 It’s been one heck of a journey, filled with ups and downs, but by God’s grace, I made it. Running a company while studying was no joke. But hey, the course was all about strategy, so I had to get strategic myself. Talk about putting theory into practice, right?

One of the funniest moments?

When I signed up, I got a lot of raised eyebrows. But fast forward to presenting my research—it felt like I was climbing Everest. Once I finished, I was so relieved I went home and slept like a baby. Career-wise, I’ve had my fair share of opportunities, but slapping an “MBA” from LJMU on your CV? That opens doors before you even knock!

My research focused on Military Leadership and MSME Growth

and I’m beyond grateful to everyone who helped along the way. Huge shoutout to my amazing team at icrewsystems, who basically took command while I balanced work and studies. I honestly couldn’t have done it without them! You can read more about my research here.

So, what’s next? I’m thinking a lot of rest, travel, and just soaking in life. But truth be told, diving into research has made me more curious than ever. Now that I know I can research anything, the big question is—what’s next on my list?

Oh, and the graduation? It all went down at the stunning Anglican Cathedral, which is an LJMU tradition. Plus, studying in Liverpool has been a blast—the music, the Beatles, the Scouse accent, and, of course, the beer. Check out this video to get a feel of Liverpool.

And now, finally

I am, Leonard Selvaraja Fernando P A - Dip. (Unix, C, C++), B.Sc (Aviation), PG. Dip. (Management), MBA (Strategy & Leadership).

All glory to God for getting me here; Jeremiah 29:11.
